Annual Tactical 10k and 2 Mile Run
The Tactical 10k and 2 mile was created to help the Vero Beach Police Department acquire equipment their normal budget does not support. During the inaugural event our goal was to raise funds to purchase a tactical pole camera system for members of the Critical Response Team who respond to calls that require special weapons and tactics. This equipment has now been put into service when members are called to search a residence for an armed suspect. By deploying this device the team is able to gain an advantage and observe potential threats before entering the dangerous environment.
2019 Sponsorship Opportunities

The Tactical 10K & 2Mile race was created to help purchase lifesaving equipment for members of the Vero Beach Police Department Critical Response Team. The first year we were able to raise money to purchase a pole camera system, which allows the team to locate and identify potential armed suspects prior to entering dangerous environments. Since the inaugural event in 2015, we have outfitted members of the team with additional equipment needed in their operations. While our mission remains the same, this year, part of the proceeds raised will be used to assist our agency in its efforts to make improvements to the Vero Beach Police Department Firearms Facility. Tactical 10K & 2Mile Sponsorship Opportunities:
Diamond: $5,000.00:
You will be recognized/announced as a Diamond Sponsor at the event and listed on all marketing materials, t-shirts or towel, and recognized on the Vero Beach Police Department website. You will have the opportunity to hang your corporate banner in prime locations at the event. You will have the opportunity to insert gifts, coupons and/or advertisements into gift bags and distribute them to people attending the event. You will also receive 5 free entries into the 10K or 2Mile race and be awarded up to 5 seats in a gun safety class taught by a firearms instructor. SWAT for a Day: Two participants of the sponsor’s choice will be given the opportunity to attend and participate in a training day with our team (subject to certain terms and conditions).
Platinum: $2,500.00:
You will be recognized/announced as a Platinum Sponsor at the event and listed on all marketing materials, t-shirts or towel, and recognized on the Vero Beach Police Department website. You will have the opportunity to hang your corporate banner in prime locations at the event. You will have the opportunity to insert gifts, coupons and/or advertisements into gift bags and distribute them to people attending the event. Elite: $1000.00:

Race Registration Information
REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR 2019's RACE

Registration can be completed by using this form. Mail-in registration must be postmarked by November 2, 2019. Make checks payable to Vero Beach Police Foundation and mail to 1055 20th Street Vero Beach Fl, 32960 Attn: Lt. Huddy. Registration will also be accepted in person at Runners Depot located in Miracle Mile Plaza at 436 21st Street Vero Beach Fl, 32960 or through the event website TBD

Race Perks & Awards
The first 100 paid registered athletes will be guaranteed a Dri-Fit Race Shirt and Sport Towel. Awards for the 10K will be given to the overall male and female winners and top three finishers in each of the 5 year age groups starting with (14 and under and ending with 70+). Awards for the 2Mile will be given to the overall male and female winners and top three finishers in each of the 10 year age groups starting with (14 and under and ending with 70+).
Raffle
Numerous items will be raffled off after awards are presented. Tickets will be sold the day of the event ($1.00 per ticket or 6 for $5.00) or can be purchased in advance by calling 772-978-4679.
