Power Restoration Progress Vero Beach, FL, October 8, 2016 6:00 PM: Power has been restored to 87% of our customers. Because of the high number of outages and the significant damage to the electric system, we expect complete restoration by end of Sunday October 9. We have power restored to all schools except for Beachland Elementary School, which we anticipate to complete by tonight. At this time, we have 21 out of town tree trimmers and 86 out of town line workers providing assistance to help restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
