Happening Now! Scam Alert..IRC residents are receiving telephone calls from a caller stating he represents the Vero Beach Utilities Department. Caller states that the residents power will be shut off in 45 minutes if they do not pay an overdue utilities bill immediately. THIS IS A SCAM. Do not attempt to call the subject back and DO NOT by any means wire money or give the caller your credit card information.
